Short version: your files never leave your device.
Your files
The tools on this site run in your browser. When you open a file, it is read locally by JavaScript on your device. It is not uploaded, stored or logged by us. Closing the tab removes it from memory.
The server sends this page and the tool’s code to your device. Your file is read inside this browser tab and is never sent to the server.
If a future tool needs a server to work, its page will say so clearly before you choose a file.
One tool downloads extra code, and only when you ask: “Test in Python” in the Joblib Inspector fetches a Python runtime from the jsDelivr CDN, which, like any server, sees your IP address and which runtime file was requested. Your file is not sent; it runs in a sandbox in the tab that cannot reach the network.
Map Image Export and Google Timeline Converter load map tiles directly from the tile server you choose: Google, Esri, OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap or your own URL. That server sees your IP address and which map tiles you view. Your points, Timeline files and other imported files are not sent anywhere.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are useful. Analytics cookies are set only if you click “Allow” in the consent banner. Without consent, Google receives only anonymous, cookieless signals (Consent Mode). Tool events record that a tool was used and whether it succeeded, never file names or contents.
Hosting
The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse. Cloudflare Web Analytics may count page views; it does not use cookies or track you across sites.
